Century of British Cooking by Marguerite Patten
Marguerite Patten has often been described as England’s Cookery Queen and the TV chef Ainsley Harriott dubbed her ‘The cookery icon of our times‘. Marguerite is one of Britain’s best known and loved cookery writers. The photographs here are some of those I shot for her book A Century of Brisitsh Cooking which I worked on with the publisher, Anne Dolamore of Grub Street. Each chapter of the book covers one decade of the century giving both history and recipes and is illustrated throughout with some of my favourite timeless food shots.
